The 2024 Showrunner Awards were announced today. We were up against some stiff competition (we're talking some films that cost tens of thousands of dollars), but still managed to pull off three wins at the "Commander" level:

  • Best Supporting Actor: Doug Baldwin

  • Best Writing

  • Best Editing

You can watch all the films that were in the competition (all 27 hours of them) here. (Thanks to my "genius" in using a number for the title, we're at the top of the list!)

HarrisFilm Reviews 359

September 7, 2024

Probably the last of the festivals in which 359 has been entered is the upcoming Showrunner Awards, the winners of which will be announced on September 8, 2024. This is a review of 359 by another team of filmmakers who have entered their films in the awards. Their live stream is a little chuggy, but if you want to skip to the final review, you can find it here. Spoiler alert: they gave it eight thumbs up (two per reviewer). Thanks, guys!

Adam, Ben, Bill, and Wynde of my favorite Star Trek podcast, The Greatest Generation were nice enough to do some VO for the film--so I sent them all copies on DVD! Ben and Adam opened the box on the May 22nd episode (the video version is linked above), and Wynde even cut in some video from the film and the site! Thanks again for being part of the project everyone!

If you're not already listening to the podcast and you're a Star Trek fan, you should subscribe. And also subscribe to Ben and Adam's other hit podcast,
The Greatest Trek (which covers all things NuTrek).
